Guest guest
Hi Merrill: Well, the current discussions probably make you a little itchier, don't they? ;-) Take a look over at the Solar Plexus info here: http://www.geocities.com/nrgbalance/solarplexus.html And the Heart info here: http://www.geocities.com/nrgbalance/heart.html Change.... change! Aargh!! Are you allergic to it? Sometimes the body's immune system overreacts to perceived threats, and those include psychological threats to safety and security (as well as self esteem) that occur in times of great turnover... new job, new home, new kids or empty nest, starting school or graduating... And as our immune system goes haywire, it gets very irritable and defensive, causing us to have nasal allergies, develop food allergies and skin eruptions. As you said, it seems we literally become allergic to our environment, because our immune system is spasming out of control in response to our subconscious feelings of insecurity. We fear, therefore we are allergic. This is not easy to get to, because we want our immune system to function properly; its job is to protect us, and if we sedate it, well, that's rather like muzzling the watch dog, isn't it. At the same time, we need to moderate it, and that may mean utilizing some affirmations to train the immune system to look before it leaps, to make sure it's not biting a friend. I have discovered that when I am stressed, I am prone to yeast. There is also a correlate to that... my dietary habits may change, I might be eating more 'junk' with simple sugars when stressed for quick energy. So, between the stress and the sugar, the yeast flourishes. It is much harder to get rid of than to get, so I'm learning to do that maintenance we've been talking about. I ask myself these questions... What is going on that is fermenting inside me? Why am I not able to accept the sweetness in life? What am I feeding besides myself? The answers, of course, vary according to the situation. So ask yourself some pointed questions about yourself rather than assuming it is something " outside " of you that is causing your allergies. They may be stimulating them, but that is not the same thing. That rash is talking to you; talk back. Guest guest
Crow, I feel blessed reading your emails, your wisdom is truly a part of my healing journey, I thank you. You always say something that resonates with me. Not that I want to know the answer, but asking myself the right questions is important. WHat am I feeding besides myself? What is fermenting inside me? Phew, biggies for me. Kate At 12:18 27/10/2001 -0400, you wrote: > What is going on that is fermenting >inside me? Why am I not able to accept the sweetness in life?
