Guest guest
Hi everybody, I wrote privately to crow to tweak her just a bit about " If your car needed fixing, would you take it to a person who couldn't fix his own? " I sent it directly to her as I didn't want to clutter the list with " fussing " . She sent me back a thoughtful reply in which she clarified/expanded her views on being judgemental. After I had finished my reply to her I realized that a " judgement " topic might be of interest to others on BodyMind. An example of how this could be " on topic " would be when a person carries a grudge. A grudge implies a judgement - " You are a bad person to have done to me what you did. I can't forgive you. " A grudge is an example of a " mind " choice; but according to many sources this can impact the body of the person who is carrying the grudge. Now, with that background, here is my message to Crow: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank you for clarifying your view. Yes, I hear you - that in your judgement <G> it's a good idea to be wary about being judgemental. It seems like the admonition " Judge NOT " crops up a lot whether it's in traditional religious context or " new thought " [which I feel is a misnomer] context. But in this 3D life we routinely HAVE to end up judging. When it comes to services, for example, whether it's a doctor, a dentist, a car fixer, a hypnotherapist, a real estate agent, an attorney, or whatever, when we wish to make use of a service we are cast into a position of making a judgement regarding whom we ultimately select to provide that service for us. Would the " judge not " admonition lead us to rolling dice to decide whose services we should hire? If 3 turns up, hire the person in the third yellow pages ad for the category; if 6 turns up, hire the person in the sixth ad ... etc. Assuming random selection is not how you hire such people, then what's left besides using your free will and being judgemental? Trying to anticipate a possible rejoinder ... <G> A person MIGHT depend upon a spirit guide to make such a choice for them. But I do not believe that we entered this 3D school to escape from taking responsibility - even if not taking responsibility does appear to be a very popular 3D game. Guest guest
To take a 'break' from responsibility, does not mean that you are 'not' responsible, --if those things are still on your mind, (and you do as you must)--however, that 'needed' break, gives option to decide what is of more or 'most' importance, to better get your perspectives in order. Being 'in' overwhelm, when it becomes uncomfortable, and when it effects your 'inner' person/spirit, is a Big Flag, --to stop, or SLOW DOWN (big time) for awhile, --listen, and come back much stronger. Guest guest
Rich: I'd certainly like to post my response to you for the list so that they can see what you are responding to, if you don't mind ;-) Otherwise it seems rather out of context. Guest guest
Slowing down when in " overwhelm " is always a good idea. I just wish it were always possible. I, of course, am always in choice, but my highest choice sometimes, is to be self sacrificing to an extent, for others. love connie > > To take a 'break' from responsibility, does not mean that you are 'not' > responsible, --if those things are still on your mind, (and you do as you > must)--however, that 'needed' break, gives option to decide what is of more > or 'most' importance, to better get your perspectives in order.
