Guest guest
I agree Crow. I have found that our best teachers are our students/clients, and --others --who recognize this 'quality' in teachers/coaches etc. as well. It is an inner sharing, for they are the compassionate ones. I would ask --and prefer that someone talks 'with' us, and not 'to' us, as do my own clients, who feel that they are equal to me, not better than me, and VS.VS. Experience Humanity! And help others to find and experience it also. That way they also have more to give. --And, to Love! We all have much to learn about ourselves, by witnessing others behavior etc., whether they are aggressive, slow, or if they happen to be horses! Guest guest
Being Judgemental seems to have a stop point! Blockage. I would prefer --re-evaluation, in ourselves, and others, as well as teaching/coaching others to also --re-evaluate. Don't forget, it might be different, --if you wore their shoes. Guest guest
Should we all not seek eyes, to see deeply,--ears, to hear, --spiritually, and a heart, --that continues to love? And, yes, to have hands, --that help, --not to take from others -in greed! I look at the elderly, who remain so quiet, and wonder just what wisdom they hold in their hands, hearts and minds, --waiting for someone that 'cares' to ask them, --what they have learned from their lives. We must continue to seek insight, from everyone, everything, and every thought that 'tries' to enter our minds. Better choices' --are part of that road, still under re-construction. This road leads to 'elevation, and then, --to revelation! Please, keep sending your wonderful posts. Rose
Guest guest
I am hunting around for a link that I can't seem to locate this morning, someone's blog about the way everyone he encounters is his buddha, whether they stimulate positive or negative feelings in him; everyone is his mirror, in other words. I think this is about expectation. We've discussed expectation before in regard to gurus and teachers. When you " contract " with someone to supply you a service, you expect quality service. That should be your focus. It is doubtful that you contracted with them under the stipulation that they were perfect. A better way to discern (and I prefer that word to judgement in this context) whether someone might be effective to you is not to look at them, but to look at their clients or students. Have they gotten what they needed? Was the person effective in transmitting the lesson, the energy, the therapy, the service, whatever? If that is where you are, then you will find that you can have teachers wherever you go. Politicians, lawyers and bagladies can be your teachers, not just gurus and rocket scientists. Wouldn't that be nice, to recognize the buddha in someone, rather than examining the dirt on their robes? Blessings, Crow
