the difference in various healing modalities

<<<<< Could someone please give me a little synopsis of sorts about

the different energy therapies out there and what they all are and

how they are or are not related? I'm particularly curious now after

reading Caroline's quote above what is the difference between the

energies involved in my aura and chakras and the energies in reiki.. <<<<

 

This is a very good question! And I'm sure everyone will answer this in a

different manner. Here's my thoughts on the matter.....

 

There are about thirty different healing modalities out there, and they all

focus in some way on working with the human energy system. I'm giving you a

very SHORT synopsis, so take this into consideration.

 

Five of the main components of the human energy system are:

 

Your aura - the electromagnetic field around your body

 

Your chakras - wheels of light that receive/send energy (there are seven

major ones, lots of secondary ones, and some that are located above the head

and below the feet)

 

Your meridians - acupuncture, acupressure and shiatsu work with these energy

channels

 

Chi - energy that flows from the top of your head to below your feet

 

And your axiatonal lines - connect you to the universal grid around

everything in the universe

 

All of the healing modalities deal in some way with the components above.

 

USUI REIKI - there are at least five different types of reiki. The most

common is Usui Reiki which has fourteen different hand positions. Each hand

position focuses on a speific chakra/endocrine gland/organ/area. Sessions

are usually done with the person lying on a reiki/energy table.

 

RECONNECTIVE HEALING - works with the axiatonal lines and aura. Person is

usually lying on a table, face up, and practitioner waves hands in the air

above person.

 

CHI - is similar to Reconnective healing, works usually with the aura. Some

practitioners also do chakra balancing.

 

T - TOUCH is similar to CHI

 

KARUNA REIKI - is a higher frequency than Usui and can be done with beaming

energy from across the room.

 

SHAMBALLA REIKI - has over 200 symbols

 

UNIFIED ENERGY THERAPY - focuses on the removal of cords (connections to

other people from current and prior lives) from in the chakras

 

FREQUENCY BALANCING focuses on balancing, clearing, and in some cases,

restoring the energy system. There are over 20 different healing techniques

such as chakra balancing, meridian clearing, implant & cord removal, sealing

holes in auras, karma clearing, axiatonal alignment and chakra rebuilding,

 

There are more, but this gives you a little idea of a few of the different
