Guest guest
Hi, I am new to the group, and have been lurking for a few weeks. Can I ask a question please? Has anyone read the book " Take off your Glasses and See " by Jacob Liberman. Has anyone experienced or know of anyone who has experienced any success with this. Very curious, Jenny. Guest guest
Hi Jenny: I have long been interested in Ayurvedic exercises for vision improvement, mostly because I have been very nearsighted most of my life and though I often get tired of my glasses, contacts aren't always comfortable for me in the dry Northeast and I am leery of radial keratotomy. I have read the book; it has been a while, but I still practice some of the exercises. At one time I had a pair of glasses with pinholes in them, too. Now, I can't say that it was totally due to doing exercises, but I have had a minor improvement in my vision. Time before last when I got glasses my vision had not degenerated, and the last time I got them my vision had gotten slightly better. So, if anything else, perhaps the exercises help stave off what for many of us is a natural worsening of vision with age or strain. At any rate, it's worth a try!
