reply:

I tried visiting the site on 2/20/02 at 6:50 am Central Standard Time and it

came up right away. So it appears the access problem has been fixed.

Could it be that it's a scam? That would be reason enough to keep the

details secret.

I agree :-\

There is SO much of that kind of thing when you get off the main stream.

 

BUT it could be like " Shakti " where the " owner " is keeping the techniques

secret and I think copy write. :-(

There has been so much lost over the years by inventers keeping inventions

to them selves then dieing with the secret!

I sent news of Oldfield and his work to a Mankato, Minnesota

holistic-oriented MD friend in my community, and I soon got a surprising

response:

have an office in this community. So I plan to call him this coming week,

just to establish a communication line.

 

I was amazed that someone from our relatively small population community

(around 50,000) would have brought one of these picture machines back from

England. But the fact that he HAS one would seem to indicate they are indeed

not just some kind of fiction.

There is a book available from amazon.com about Harry Oldfield's work.

Can't recall the title at the moment, but if you do a search for 'Harry

Oldfield' it should come up. I don't think he's being secretive about

it.

I meant it isn't " OPEN-Source " .

 

Has anyone read the book??? How much detail is there?

 

Could I build an " Oldfields " camera from the book instructions?
