Several of my clients had histories of substance abuse. What happens is their energy system is compromised greatly by constant substance useage. What I mean is that their meridians have breaks in them, their aura has holes, and their chakras are in bad shape. One client didn't' mention the substance abuse (alcohol) on her history form. During the session it was so bad, that when I tried doing implant removals (removing them from several chakras), she was in pain during the process. Had to stop, do major assessments, ask lots of questions, and then realized what she had forgotten to mention. Had to stop the session and do chakra rebuilding before we could do more implants. On another note, I've found that people who can't stop smoking/drinking/drugs sometimes have entities in their field or body. Once the entities are removed, the person has more luck in stopping the addiction. I'm not sure if massage therapy will help either of the above concerns, but it will help the person feel better and also move the lymph, so it is definitely always a positive. Hope this helps.
