In response to a message I posted, a list member wrote to me directly with

some thoughts. As I was responding, I thought that perhaps other list members

would also like to read my response. So I'm sending it to the list. I have

slightly edited this member's comments to me in order to help maintain this

person's anonymity.

My wife and I have been on a path of discovery for little more than two

decades. It's been both satisfying and enlightening. I'll share a little of

what we have come to understand/believe.

 

Have you ever seen the original Star Trek TV show with Captain Kirk in the

lead role? In one of the episodes they encounter a race of beings who live at

a significantly higher vibrational rate than humans do. We get a clue as to

what's going on when at certain times the ship's crew hears a faint buzzing

sound, exactly like you hear when a very fast fly is buzzing around the room

SO fast that you know he's there, but you cannot see him with your eyes.

 

The trusty ship's doctor manages to create an " injection " for the captain to

speed up his metabolism so that he'll be able to see and interact with this

speeded up race of beings. This was a creative and enjoyable science fiction

story. But we also believe that it reflects the reality of how things are.

Most people cannot perceive the body energies that you see because they are

" out of the range of vision " of the average person. Similarly, we believe

that there are beings who exist at a higher frequency rate than humans.

 

When we live in this 3 dimensional world with our physical senses it's quite

natural to come to believe that only that which we can detect with our senses

is " real " . Auras are a great clue that there is more " there " than most people

can perceive. Now, with the aid of various picture capturing devices, we are

starting to get help in understanding that which is beyond our physical

senses.

 

Some authors which have books that may help to shed some light on this

include Seth/Jane Roberts and Richard Gerber, MD, It's been more than a

decade since I last read a Seth book; but I sure remember that I thought he

was very challenging to understand at that time.

 

This general subject has a lot to do with what a person believes happens to

" people " when they die. There are two basic possibilities:

(1) When the body dies, you disappear forever, except for any physical

remains such as a skeleton.

(2) When the body dies, it's like you were driving a car, and you got tired

of driving that car, so you got out of it and went on with your experiences

SOMEwhere else.

 

IF a person believes (2), then the interesting question becomes, " WHERE might

that somewhere else be? " Quite a number of people, including my wife and me,

believe that somewhere else is a different vibratory plane ... from which it

is possible, but not EASY, to still communicate with people on the three

dimensional Earth plane. This gets us back to Barbara Brennan's " guides " .
