Guest guest
<< The angels have told some of us they appear in the form to us as they do for this is our expectations of an angel and they have no wish to frighten us when they come to us. They are of pure love when they come. >> This made me think of an episode from the original Star Trek series. This episode would rank among my top 5 from all episodes from all of the series. The Enterprise arrives at a planet where the humanoid inhabitants are very relaxed, easy-going, friendly, and above all else peaceful. The nasty Klingons come along with thoughts of subjugating the planet's inhabitants. Naturally Captain Kirk and his crew rally to try to SAVE the inhabitants from the Klingons. Kirk tries to get the inhabitants to join up with him in his fight to protect them. Their attitude? We don't see that that's really necessary. Finally when the good guys and the bad guys are at the verge of a " shootout at the OK corral " , the planet inhabitants finally intercede by disabling the weapons from each side [just by their intention]. They also drop their masquerade of human form and reveal themselves in their native form -- brilliant shining balls of energy. They explain that the quick-to-fight tendencies of each side are just too painful for them to put up with, " So please leave our planet. " And both sides do leave, very much humbled and with much to ponder. Rich - a trekkie from way back ... from episode one. PS: I'm also very disappointed in the latest incarnation of the show.
