Guest guest
Hi I am an established acupuncturist and a (somewhat) self taught herbalist who is interested in a correspondence course in Chinese Herbs. Does anyone have any feedback or suggestions? I am considering Blue Poppy/Bob Flaws certification program. Thanks so much. J. Silver

I have heard good things about this class. Bob is an excellent teacher and the syllabus is very thorough. I think you will find your knowledge and ability after taking this class may actually exceed that of many people who learned herbology in school because of Bob's rigor and becaue you will be able to focus on this material. Guest guest
Kelly, In my experience, it is important to give something with Chai Hu in it when starting tonics. It really helps the tonic circulate better, especially in a patient like this. I would consider Ling Zhi (Reishi) for her allergies. I would also consider Gou Qi Zi and Wu Wei Zi. You may want to try her on Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan for a short course. It helps with circulation in the pelvic region. I've had many women regulate their periods with this. One woman is sure that this was the formula that got her pregnant after trying for 5 years. Colleen My question is about prioritizing her syndrome herbally? I started her on a spleen tonic to be taken with fresh grated ginger which she remembered she had been given before successfully. However, what about the yin def, blood def, and stagnation as prioroties? My other hit on formulas would be to nourish stomach yin or something on the continuum of Si Ni San to move stagnation
