Guest guest
Hello to Kath! I am a holistic counselor and I deal with people with depression on a daily basis- in fact, it is the most common problem in my practice. Here are some tools I use: 1) Hair mineral test to check levels of heavy metals, like lead, and the balance between copper and zinc. In women especially too much copper seems to be extremely common, bringing a variety of health problems on, namely depression and/or anxiety and fatigue. 2) Saliva testing to check the levels of adrenal hormones, estrogen, and progesterone. 3) The book " STAYING WELL WITH GUIDED IMAGERY " by Belleruth Naparstek, which has a fabulous visualization for depression. ( and other illnesses, of course) 4) The Abraham material - visit www.abraham-hicks.com and also Gary Zukav material. 5) Some nutrients- B vitamins, Vit. C, magnesium, and St. Johns Wort are all important. Hope some of these ideas help you!
