I would like for all new members to read the FAQ before posting. It is

located at http://www.geocities.com/nrgbalance/bmfaq.html and is also mailed

to you on joining and filed in the shared files area.

 

This would prevent misunderstandings.

 

Advertisements are allowed on this forum only with approval of the owner,

who is me, so if you didn't run it by me, don't post it and assume it's

okay.

 

I am especially aggravated with people who join on no mail and do nothing

but post their ads without participating in conversations or adding anything

useful to the community. I am watching for those folks, and trust me, I know

who posts here regularly, and they have much more leeway to post off topic.

 

I think most of us get far and away more than we need in the line of spam in

our mailboxes without polluting our list experiences. I am also concerned

about artistic license and protection in the case of basically giving your

work to someone else to put on their website; as a freelance writer I am

aware of several sites that have robbed green authors and artists of their

work in this way. There was no mention of compensation or of usage rights.

If your site is legitimate and not for owner profit, then you will not mind

clarifying that and next time you want to post asking me beforehand.
