As you all know, I don't send forwards and don't endorse them, as

most of them are not legitimate. However, this is from a personal

friend of mine in VA and I agree with the sentiment, that if we are

to have peace in the world, it will be through the children.

******

My cousin sent me this - Nitzan & Mervat are traveling hear from mid

east one israeli the other palestinian who work together with a

program they developed in working with kids towards peace. much

courage to do in these times of violence.

if you are drawn to send a brief prayer or blessing to be taken back

for those on both sides there to know that others in the world care &

support peace on both sides then read the following & send a brief

whatever you feel to do via email to the addressed listed below.

if not a silent thought anytime will do.

blessings

deny

-> " t is my intent while Nitzan and Mervat are here to gift them with

a

> Blessing Blanket to take back to Israel and use in their work with

teachers

> and children. A gift of support and caring from many in this

country (and

> around the world).

> Thus, I am asking for any who desire to send me a blessing (or 2

or ....)

> to add to the blanket. For those who have not seen the original

blanket,

> it is part of a rainbow crocheted afghan made by a dear elder

woman. The

> blessings are written (and printed) on colorful squares of paper,

which

are

> then rolled and tied onto the blanket with colorful ribbons! The

blanket

> which goes to Israel will be from the same afghan.

Nitzan

in NE

> Georgia on the 30th (where we will present the blanket) and then

will also

> be presenting a community-wide program here on the 1st (where the

blanket

> will again be shared). It is my hope that the blanket will have

several

> hundred blessings on it by the time it is on its way back to

Israel.

prayer,

gift to

an

think of

> words that you would feel blessed to receive. Please keep in mind

that

> these will be shared among Jewish and Arab peoples - and that of

the

Arabs,

> there will be Muslims, Christians, and Druze.

> You can email blessings to me at thrivingspirit and

group of

especially

> appropriate for young people sending blessings!) and

town/state/country

> along with your blessings -- it's fun and meaningful for people to

have a

> sense that the blessings come from " real " people in " real " places!

>

> Thank you in advance for helping us with this project (whether by

sending

> blessings and/or breathing good wishes our way as you read this

message -

> both are appreciated and important!).
