A Spirit That Binds...

Golden fountain of dreams, where do they rise,

flights that we take, are they seen by spiritual eyes?

Does heart equal the soul, weaved forever within,

the fabric of our existence, where does it begin?

The visual beauty gathered, are they hidden away,

are they close by when needed, from day to day?

Is time as we know it, just a statement of mind,

like thoughts which inspire, are they easy to find?

Does sleep bind us to spirit, is it always around,

does the sun shine in heaven, as it does on the ground?

All these questions have merit, a voice seemed to say,

love that fashions the true spirit, cannot fade away.

In soulful visions of flight, heart and soul binds as one,

providing a mansion above, when earth's life is done.

The sonnet's are written, in love to deeply inspire,

golden fountains of dreams, ascends so much higher.

Words jointly express, the true definition of being,

for spirit dwells in the soul, all knowing and seeing.

Just a small portion we sense, at this point of time,

heart and soul binds the spirit, forever to shine.

Hello Friends,

Here is a poem I wrote back in 1994 that I thought I would share. I hope

you like it.

Have a great day and take care. Life is so precious.

Kindest Regards,

Harold
