Guest guest
This poem kinda compliments the last post on being ordinary. Hope you don't mind poems, but since it's on topic here goes. Ordinary Is there anything, extraordinary; About being ordinary? Would there be anything less; in looking into needful eyes, If they belong to, a child? Would there be anything lost; in holding on tightly, grasping, the hand, of an elderly friend? Is there anything, less extraordinary; About being ordinary? Whatever happened to life's, simple pleasures; Lemonade served on a hot summer's day, A lazy swing, on a wrap-around porch, The nuzzle of a cuddly, warm puppy, Gentle wind, blowing through your hair, Listening to sounds, of children's play, Singing to a tune, on the radio, Dreaming of becoming someone; someday... Waking only to realize, these things, Aren't so ordinary. Their, rather extraordinary... Circle Of Healing c 2002
