A Tapestry Of Love...

 

Let me live beyond my wildest dream, wherever it might go,

on angel wings to fields of love, where lavish flowers grow.

Weaved in exuberant colors, let my soul take flight above,

if for a heart-felt moment, let me sketch a tapestry of love.

 

Let pastel water colors, declare with creative tones so fine,

a scene of love definitive, from this thankful heart of mine.

A request to shape in detail, throughout each single strand,

captured in its briefest moment, that I might understand.

 

Permit the scene before me, to be inscribed within my mind,

that I might trace and capture, all the goodness that I find.

Each colored pattern significant, forms my tapestry of love,

gathering each remnant near or far, in dreams so high above.

 

The outline screens each vision, it’s encountered from within,

thoughts determine the pace I set, where all my dreams begin.

To live beyond this wildest dream, begins and ends with me,

where billows of love become visible, in dreams forever free.

 

Let each stitch of time be tailored, with borders very tight,

edged with motifs born of heart, with colors rich and bright.

To embark beyond my wildest dream, so that I can share,

a tapestry of love that enfolds us all, so beautiful and rare.
