Guest guest
Blossoms... Fields of love blossoms, in the warmth of spring, buds now burst open, its fragrance to bring. The sweet scent lingers and filters the air, incense or perfume, could never compare. Off in the distance, there are lilacs I spy, the colors so lovely, it captures my eye. True shades of violet, warm mauve and soft white, blessed by the sun, what a wonderful sight. They offer so much, in the short time they're here, the beauty that fills me, I will always hold dear. There are so many things, in life which are free, often taken for granted, we really don't see. Fields of love blossoms, in me they live on, long after the last petal, of the blossoms are gone. The fragrance it offered, I'm thankful for this, in my heart I've learned, the meaning of bliss. © 1994 by Harold A. Sutton _____________________ Hello Friends, Getting a little behind in posting again and decided to post a poem that speaks a little of the gifts of nature. I have posted this before. Summer is a time to look around and get a bird's eye view of what is really out there for us to enjoy. Have a great day and don't take life for granted because it is far too precious and sacred.
