The dictionary I am using (dictionary.com) MUST be in error, for I cannot believe that such an educated and aware individual such as yourself would use this word to decribe mature women, or man, for that matter! Guest guest
Hi in reply to the self awareness and happiness message.. I have learned in my limited time on this earth that self respect, caring, honesty, control, understanding and ablitity to admit my mistakes and learn from them has helped me. I was in a very violent relationship few years ago and left because I was going to die emotionally, spirtiually and physically. I knew I had to leave.. eitherI he would kill me or I would kill myself, what an aweful life I thought I had.. now I see it was a great lesson and know I am soooo much stronger and able to handle anything and live a full, happy life. I am so glad I have learned to take everything in moderation, expand my body, mind and soul together and try to meet people who do the same.. so I can continue this great life I have and live very, very postivitly and happily! I will have to say having a postivie attitude thru everything has helped me and knowing God is there for me has helped too! well take care all.. tanya ______________________ ______________________
Guest guest
I'm glad you were able to get out of the bad situation. I had struggled with abuse for many years, though not too physically violent, the mental/verbal abuse was just as bad and I was dying from it. Though it took me years to get out, I'm much better for it. The few comforts I had there weren't worth the pain I endured. So I understand in many ways what you went through. Congratulations on turning your life around. You have a good understanding of awareness. It's great when we can survive those experiences, find the lessons and move on to become stronger, happier people. Sincerely, Silver ---
