brain/mind enhancement technology

I just read about " Awakened Minds " . It's a CD that you listen to to enhance

your brainpower. You could consider it a technological boost to help achieve

the benefits that long term meditation is supposed to bring about. This ASSUMES

that the CD works as advertised.

 

So have you by chance used this CD or know someone who has?

If so, would you please share your knowledge. Here is the link:

I did an Internet search on the subject with Google. I didn't find much in

the way of actual user feedback. One user did say that he found the rain sound

was too uncomfortable for him to listen to for any length of time. I can

empathize with anybody trying to find a " sound " that would be pleasing to

virtually

everybody.

 

There are other programs out there that have a similar goal. The first one I

ran across -- Holosync -- is incredibly expensive, compared to the Awakened

Minds CD.

A little more than a week ago I posted a message relating to the site:

As I indicated then, I don't know if the technology works or not. But

the SUBJECT of brain function enhancement technology is very much on

topic for this forum. That's why I'm surprised that nobody has

weighed in with their thoughts on the awakened minds CD.

 

For what it's worth, there's an EXTENSIVE bibliography at the site

relating to the principles that underlie the CD.
