New, Introducing myself

Hi all, and thanks for letting me join.

My background with regard to holistic stuff is in reference to

Healing Touch, the off-shoot of Therapeutic Touch, founded by Janet

Mentgen.

I completed all the training available for HT (except instructor

training) in the early '90s and had a private practice for a couple

of years. I also did a great deal of volunteer work at HARP in San

Diego and the hospice, obviously for terminally ill people.

I stopped doing HT at one point because I felt a conflict with

Christianity. Since then, I have worked it out so to speak and now

find no conflict at all.

I am married, Karen is a 411 telephone operator and I am now a home

business person. I also home school my ten year old step daughter.

I have recently begun to incorporate HT techniques into the home for

minor stress and pain relief.

We live in Oxford, Alabama and we are hoping to escape to Georgia in

the near future.

I hope to be an active and useful addition to the group and

appreciate the forum.
