Guest guest
I recieve the digest so I haven't seen the spam involved. I just wanted to share we have the same problem in other groups. It is very difficult to weed out the useless info. Note to Robyn: can't wait to hear about the drum washing. I wonder if it is like when we do sweat lodge and instead of smuding with sage we use sound...such as drums. Hi, My name is Robyn and I am from Melbourne Australia. I have been interested in the body mind connection for a number of years now and it is great to have found a group to be able to network with. I use some alternative healing therapies, and I am really looking forward to a " drum washing " (healing) workshop at the end of this month. I have " collected " lots of info off the net, and I am looking forward to sharing it with the group - I will first get around to reading what has already been posted. It is disappointing that some " sleazy " postings have been permitted in the links. Is the site not moderated? Have a wonderful day Love & Rainbows Robyn ______________________ ______________________ Message: 2 Sun, 18 Jan 2004 00:45:32 -0000 nrgbalance Ugh, Spam! From Crow Hi All: Thank you, whoever noticed all the spam in the Links section. Looks like it's not just posts but also the page I'm going to have to watch. I want those areas open to the members for use, but don't want them abused. Seems like every time I mention that I am modding the group, though, everyone goes mum. So don't do that :-p If you find anything that could be improved, please do contact me at -owner with in the header and I'll get right on it. I do want this to be a productive group for everyone. Thanks Again, Crow ______________________ ______________________ **************************************** home page: FAQ: http://www.geocities.com/nrgbalance/bmfaq.html For List Help Email: -owner To UNSUBSCRIBE Email: - All messages, files and archives of this forum are Copyright group and the individual authors. ------
Guest guest
May I ask people to consider whether 'weight loss' and 'slimming pills' are really appropriate components of a holistic system of medicine? I was surprised to see the acupuncture clinic in a Hangzhou hospital full of thin Chinese girls beig treated for 'obesity' recently. Maybe this is not surprising seeing how obsessed people in the west are. Guest guest
I too have heard some horror stories from a couple of patients. One of whom was harassed for £700 before they had any more treatments. This is becoming a big issue over here right now. Sad to say, with others muscling in on trying to make a quick buck from the wave of popularity of CM, has made it important that we negotiate fair and proper regulation in the UK. Regards Helene .. Now let's wait for the kick-back. Warm regards, Attilio D'Alberto Doctor of (Beijing, China) B.Sc. (Hons) T.C.M. M.A.T.C.M. One of those chain CHinese Herbal stores had opened in a shopping centre in Aberdeen. I went a bit closer out of curiosity. They offered to sell me some herbal pills against my cold on the basis of me having a cold that made me prefer hot drinks! All this done over the counter and without asking any other questions! No looking at my tongue nor checking my pulse... In another chain shop they wnated to sell me something that was good for " fat in the blood " (????). Does not help give a good reputation to Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture. Artemis
