Imagine if for 10 minutes, the people of the world would be still. Still

enough to see what excites their will, to produce action. I wonder if in that

time, another light would illuminate their minds, to understand, another way. -

Chaotic confusion lords over man

Leaving rivers of tears and blood

over the land

The noise of unsound reason

blares a clarion call

for obedience and trust

as it leads to the fall

into the abyss of recurrence

 

And the stillness waits

waits to be heard

Waits to give its wisdom

to featherless birds

To once again fly

 

The stillness waits

for you and I
