Guest guest
I agree with Misty. This is a good cause and we should all jump in and write letters to our representatives in Washington. However, I don't agree that we need to come from a place of fear while doing that. The plight of alternative medicine is what it is. I want to do what I can to make sure that all these wonderful therapies that have helped me and others will continue to be available. In Ohio, our laws disallow all unlicensed health practitioners from serving clients. Of course, we still have tens of thousands of alternative practitioners, but they seem to live in constant fear of " being caught " healing people through natural means. This is why I decided to be a part of the Health Freedom Coalition of Ohio (www.ohiohealthfreedom.org). We intend to change the laws to make it legal for unlicensed practitioners to provide their healing services, and to make very clear the circumstances when they may be shut down (can't prescribe pharmaceuticals, perform surgery, etc.). If you live in Ohio, please join us. It's easy and free. Just go to our Website www.ohiohealthfreedom.org and that says " Sign up for our mailing list. " This allows us to contact you through e-mail at just the right times in the lifecycle of our Health Freedom Bill as it goes through the legislative channels. We need letter writers and petition signers, most of all. This is such an important cause that I agreed to be the president of the initiative, even though it will take me away from my work for significant periods of time. My company is an online business school for the holistic healthcare community (www.simplicity-institute.com). Will you join us? If you live in Ohio and you are a practitioner of alternative medicine or a client of any of these practitioners, we need your help. Thank you.
