Guest guest
I would like to just kick this out here and you guys can comment if you wish. Physical immortality, how was that done? The comment was made that the Divine does the healing. When a master reaches the point where he or she is actually in union with God/Divine, yoked if you wish. Yoga means yoked to God. This person is actually indwelt or occupied physically by God. Revelations 11:1 talks about a fellow who is given a measuring stick and is asked to measure the temple, the altar of the temple, and those who worship in the temple. The temple is our bodies, the altar of this temple is our heart, and what is being worshipped is the presence of God/Divine in the temple. What this fellow is measuring is the physiological changes that occur in the body of a person who is actually indwelt by God/Divine and this presence is honored, praised, and worshipped from the altar of ones heart. It starts out that God is an honored loved guest in your body/house. Over time God's body becomes your body and you dwell in the house of the Lord forever. The object of " Yoga " is to achieve this state of being indwelt by God. India's legends are full of people who have done this and they did some wonderous mircle stuff and then left taking their body with them. In todays world these people are extremely rare and what is funny is it is not that hard to do. And another thing that is funny is that if you seriously worship the presence of God in your temple from the altar of your heart, God does all the work. This presence of the Divine, when loved, changes over time, your mind, spirit, and body from the inside out automatically. There are alot of people both past and present that say that you have to do alot of things before God will indwell you and the gifts of the Divine presence are yours. This is miss information, all it takes is desire, love, and feeling the presence of the body of the Divine occupying your body. I don't know why they make it so complicated, there are alot of people who are missing out and have missed out because of miss information. Guest guest
When the Divine occupies your body, you have a responsibility to share and care for others - taking the wisdom and putting it out there as in " collective unconscious " where the unconscious becomes conscious. Wisdom without great work to enhance the evolution of others is a waste. In others words, put it into practical terms, write a book, open a healing centre, find a way of serving ....a mission .... an authentic purpose for being. All ego set aside, where the God in me, honors the God in you. No guru worship, no one man or woman having all the answers. x Christina - " Michael Scott " <acaveyogi Saturday, January 29, 2005 2:26 PM Re: Legend part
Guest guest
Hello Christina, Thanks for your valuable comments. I agree with u that not to worship any living Guru and no one man or woman having all the answer. I think that it would be better to follow the route of science in this sphere because scientific way is one and only one but the ways of different Gurus are different, alike our religions. I dont believe in synthesis of science and religion because scientific way is one whereas religous ways are different. I dont find any answer why we are organizing the symposium on " Synthesis of science and religion.
