Guest guest
The ego, when understood from its proper perspective and in its true function, is similar to an assistant helping one interpret, record and interact in this existence. It is an intellectual construct containing a database of information gathered through experiences that gives one a sense of being and participation in this experiential realm. It is only when one misunderstands its purpose, that one becomes subject to the errors of the ego, which can be witnessed in a myriad of manifestations from megalomania to compulsive reclusion. They are all lessons enlightening us to the impact of egoism. If we understand that Source has created nothing wrong or bad, it's just our use and/or interpretation of such which makes it so, than the ego warrants that same consideration. Please feel free to add any thoughts. - Franke
