Guest guest
The heat doesn't interfere with the healing properties? You're supposed to keep it in the fridge which indicates to me that heat destroys essential components. Ilana Grostern <ilana wrote: I saw the acupuncturist last night. She spent a little while talking to me, getting my history and information on my current health and all that. She mentioned that if my digestion is going off again it might be due to the changing of the seasons and the fact that the liver is trying very hard to cleanse right now (which is why we do liver cleanses in the spring!) so that could be disrupting things. Then she did muscle testing on me and the only nutriment (what the heck is a nutriment?) that I reacted to was sugar. No suprise there! Haven't touched the stuff in over a year and I was always addicted to it. Then she did something vibrational using tuning forks to clear out some sort of congestion in my internal organs. And then she did the acupuncture. I can't remember what she said was up exactly, but I'm going to call her this morning and write it down. She said there's a deficiency in my chi, there's a lot of heat in my body, and there's something up with my spleen and kidneys. I guess that all makes sense to me but I can't remember why! She suggested that I start taking Royal Jelly every day. That stuff tastes like s**t!!! We're trying to conceive, as I've mentioned before, and she said that that stuff will be very helpful for both me and my husband. I'm not sure how I'm going to get him to choke it down. I'm much more open to torture than he is! Anybody know anything about acupuncture? Maybe you can help me decipher this stuff. ILANA xoxo Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Guest guest
### Please give it another chance, Chinese medicine can really help what you are describing.... Best wishes, Kristan ### ______________________________ I have to chime in on this also. I was injured in an automobile accident a little over 2 years ago. Nothing would touch my back pain. When I told my doctor I was going to give acupuncture a try he said it will not work. Well it did. Nothing could touch the pain until I got acupuncture. I'm highly sensitive, all over my body. Yes I did feel the tiny needles go in a few places, but it was instantaneous and not really painful. My first session was the worst for me. Part of the whole experience was dread of the needles. By the third session I was completely relaxed and able to feel the healing quite nicely. When I get any kind of awful pain now I make an appointment. I do not have to have this done often, and it's much more reasonable than going to a regular doctor who wants to prescribe narcotic drugs to control the pain. Alternative medicine is best for me, no more will I buy into medico and their greed. In many cities you can go to the acupuncture college to get treatments. But if you are highly sensitive it's best to stick with someone who has experience under their belts. To me acupuncture can heal most anything. I discovered a whole new lease on life and I'm not going to give that up. Blessings. Micki
