herbalist question

Although I am not an herbalist, perhaps I can assist you with the

business aspect with some recommendations. First, It depends on the

State where you are located. In some states, herbalism is regulated by

State Law, requiring licensure in some way. Here, a " naturopathic "

license is required for anyone who deals with herbal medicine in any

way. Some only require an updated " certification " in the field through

an accredited association. Business liability issues are another story.

Selling manufactured product is a nightmare in and of itself dealing

with product liability, general liability & business liability

insurance issues that can be sticklers depending on one's

certification. Check with your local, city, county and especially State

requirements before you make the financial and personal leap of faith.
