Guest guest
Crow... I belong to three email lists and have one of my own. All have been quiet lately. The most active has been the Healing Touch list, on which the activity has consisted primarily of requests of energetic support. It may be the season--postholiday doldrums.... It may also be that members are reluctant to put stuff " out there " because of all the nefarious activity on the Internet these days. Spam seems to be a never ending battle. I have had to change sign-up procedures on my blog and my discussion forums to keep the spammers at bay. I would be glad for some online discussion about Energy Medicine or neurolinguistics (especially NLP) and their contribution to health and well being. And while we're at it ... Happy New Year. -- ------ *Joel P. Bowman, Ph.D.** /Subtle Communication Systems/ SCS Matters, LLC* Voice: (269) 267-1419 www.scs-matters.com /Small Changes ... Guest guest
Hi Crow I've been completely absent for ages, so am one of the inactive culprits. As it happens, I'd love to get some input from the group so will try a new thread now. Hope 2008 is starting well for you and Mani - and the same to the group. cheers Arabella
Guest guest
Joel: I suppose I shouldn't guage the rest of my lists by the bodywork list I mod, which seems to be perpetually busy even when there's nothing really going on (I suppose that makes it a Seinfeldian group?) I am aware of the fallow winter behavior in a lot of discussion groups, though. Guess I'll be patient for a while ;-) Crow , " Joel P. Guest guest
Hey, I want to thank you for the web link to SCS, sounds interesting and informative. Also, I like the thought of gathering stories about touch and how it can be helpful in healing. I was at a doctors office and I was crying about a memory from my abusive childhood and her dog came over and laid her head against my leg to comfort me. This was really touching because the dog could sense I was upset and when I pet her it helped calm me down. So I hope this can be added to your list. Perhaps the list names say it all: BodyWORK and BodyMIND. One seems to suggest ongoing activity, while the other suggests quiet reflection, at least from time to time. Perhaps members of the Bodymind list are about ready to bring themselves back from dreamtime. -- ------ *Joel P. We don't have the flashiest site on the Web, but--at least in my opinion--we offer a lot of good information about Energy Medicine and neurolinguistics. We also provide some really worthwhile free downloads. > Also, I like the thought of gathering stories about touch and how it > can be helpful in healing. Dogs and other animals are well-attuned to the Energy. You may already be familiar with Cesar Milan (of " The Dog Whisperer " TV show) and his book, " Cesar's Way. " Milan believes that dogs communicate primarily through Energy. I think that the same is true for cats. -- ------ *Joel P. Guest guest
Sorry Joel...but some of us are still there in the Dreamtime - Winter isn't over yet and some are still in hibernation. Others are busy prepping for the things yet to come, contemplating what must needs be, and weaving the strands of what can be... Spirit Blessings... ....From the Heart , " Joel P. Guest guest
Please do not disband the group mizz_crow. It has always been helpful in the past, but I do apologize for not checking in more regularly. Lot going on at the home-front. You have great articles, and am mostly interested in meditation as a means in which to help with my insomnia, and if you have anything relating to herbal medications. Any suggestions? Thanks, Sky
Guest guest
Dried Valerian root made into a tea may help, also Red Clover blossoms. These are both sedatives. Melatonin is also used, and can be found in a pill form just about anywhere, even WAL-MART. Many blessings to you, Kat , " Sky " <galvloalsgisgi wrote: > > Please do not disband the group mizz_crow.
