Hello to All

I am a complete newbie to much of this sort of thing but I would like

to say Hi, and introduce myself.

My name is Harry Dalford and I am a Trager Practitioner.

Please 'google me' or have a look at www.trager.co.uk

I am very interested in hearing other points of view and would be

pleased to recieve feedback/greeting from my collegues in the field

of mind/body work.

By way of analogy - within my personal experience I think of the many

forms of complememnary therapy in the same way I think of Martial Art

which I liken to spoken language.

As a martial artist of some years experience I have found that one

would be unwise to say that Karate is better than Judo or Kung Fu

because there are only so many ways of throwing, kicking, punching,

imobilising a body and that actually it is all very much the same

language but with speacial nuance or accent which differentiates one

style or disciple from another.

To broaden the analogy - think of the many accents spoken in England!

Whose English is better, the Geordie, the Yorkshireman, the Londoner,

the East Anglian or the Cornishman.

Communication is the key! Reaching the mind and reintroducing it to

the Body

Therefore whether it be Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Bowen, Cranial

Sacral, NLP, Rolfing, Feldencrais or Trager (for example), each has

something to offer.

What do you think.

Regards

Harry
