Guest guest
Welcome! I have ulcerative colitis too.Currently not ulcerative. Stress makes it bad for me as well as foods that I'm allergic to especially wheat and chocolate. I have excess estrogen and when I avoid the foods that trigger or supply estrogen I have less inflammation. I take flax seed oil almost every day in yogurt with almonds. Sugar causes inflammation also all over the body. One reason is that it feeds the bad bacteria, candida, which the immune system fights (inflammation). Have you heard of the Specific Carbohydrate Diet? It is a sound diet because it starves the candida slowly and your bowels return to normal. Doctors won't help you. I'm sorry. There is very little common sense in traditional medicine. A good probiotic or yogurt daily is a must. Welcome! Merry Christmas to all!
