Hi Aymee,

Kelly just posted eHealthy new you can use on Nautural_healing. It has a good article on nutrition for dogs, including the issue of raw meat in the diet. It also recommends and has a link to what looks like a really good book to me. Perhaps there are some answers in this info for both of us.

Thanks for this info, Marilyn. It is something I would like to look into for Riley (my daughter's blue heeler). I give my cat Dick Van Patton's Natural Balance cat food, based on a recommendation from my neighbor. She has at least one of every domestic animal there is, even a horse! She is a strict vegan, who won't have anything to do with leather or furs either. After reading the ingredients in Natural Balance though, I commented that I could feed it to my kids! I am definitely going to check out the Flintriver.com for Riley though. I always associate anything "Flint" with Flint, Michigan. I'm interested to see if that is where the company is based, because if it is, I could just drive there! Probably not though. That is how my luck goes!

HI Aymee, I definitely think you need to keep your dogaway from the dog foods that have fillers like wheatand corn in them. Have you ever seen a dog run into awheat field and start chomping? lol. I believe Iams orEukanuba are the best. Kelly--- Renee Judkins <msfitnes01 wrote:> Hi Aymee,> > I am still looking for the info I have on the> hip dysplasia. Hi Aymee,

I just came across this that Kelly posted a month ago:

http://www.althealthinfo.com/2005/07/19/alternative-medicine-for-animals/

I think this might be helpful to us also, though I haven't checked it out real thoroughly yet.
