I have found that the most important part for me is to acknowledge the

possibility of a thing. I have dabbled in various energy techniques not

wanting to get too deep into the formal part becasue like standardize

physical work it puts you into a mindset of following a prescribed

methodology to help some one. This means that you are treating the

measurements not the person.

I find that energy can be directed like manual therapy and can also be

contra indicated. A number of years ago I came across a person who was

being treated but stimulating acupressure points that increased is heat yet

just looking at the person he already had too much heat. I realize that

there are contraindications to energy work as well. If you can effect a

change the change can be either helpful or harmful.

I try to work both physically and energetically using the person's own body

and energy where possible. Getting the person to heal themselves is the

best cure possible. This puts you in a different relationship with the

client as one of equals not a healer / patient.

I use direct right-brain perception to " see " the person in ways too complex

for my left-brain (rational) to understand. Then I use may left-brain to

insure that my intuitive side is not suggesting something that may be

harmful. From this perspective I will often intervene with left-brain

physical & energetic tools when needed to help the person overcome certain

obstacles with in a framework on an intentional directive to improve the

person's state of wellness.

I know nothing about SnowLion Integrative Energy Healing. However, I am

Leary of people who offer to teach you the answers. Instead I look for

people who can help you find the questions and find your own answers.
