Guest guest
It is certainly not an original idea; the idea that we can create social change and promote love through music. However it is an idea that should never go out of vogue. I believe it is quite fitting that today on the 40th anniversary of Woodstock we acknowledge this continuing effort to use music as a catalyst to unite people in global peace and harmony. The music medium, whether it be primal drumming or high tech digital, is inconsequential to the outlook it invokes upon our consciousness. It is these feelings of connectedness of spirit that allow us to reach beyond the mundane limitations of our cultural experience. When we are sharing and appreciating music we are living within the oneness of our energy self in partnership with the creative source. It is then that we silence the chatter of the pretender culture and its indoctrination of our intellect. We do not need to think about music and love; we feel it. When we are feeling we are living within the infinite possibilities of our higher self. It is then that we can so successfully share the unconditional love that we seek.
