Guest guest
The Dental Associations should begin to think that JUST MAYBE their positions on fluoridation and mercury fillings have finally been recognized for their harmful recommendations over the YEARS! arnold Subj: Dentists Employ " Liars For Hire " Ralph Blois has reported to us via his printed WASP newsletter that the Washington Dental Service has hired a public realations firm (also known as " liars for hire " ) to promote the public's awarenss for the need for improve dental health including fluoridation, called the Frameworks Institute, with no mention of improved nutrition. Here's detailed advice they give which includes portions about fluoridation http://www.frameworksinstitute.org/clients/../products/issue2oralhealth.shtm l This is some of what they say: " The Frames (or beliefs) We're Up Against... 5) When prompted, adults can understand that children's oral health is a community responsiblity " I believe this sets the stage for voters accepting or even asking for water fluoridation. Interesting: " Dentists were not viewed by the public as trusted sources on this issue " (oral health) The institutes guidelines in " reframing " or changing people's minds by using powerfull " messengers " to say things like " children's oral disease is entirely preventable " (which it isn't the way they do it - nutrition is the only way) and " fluoridation of the water supply reduces caries by about 26% in adolescents " The messengers they decided would influence people the most are " school nurses, pediatricians, senior citizens, other health professionals should serve as the prime messengers. Dentists are seen as self-serving on this issue and not completely connected to a whole health model in the public's mind...Dentists need to weigh in as experts when state legislators who go out on a limb to romote fluoridation... " Frameworks suggests about visuals " ...scientists discussing fluorides in the drinking water... " They say nothing about nutrition in this report that scanning the document showed and it seems they want to take the responsibility for good teeth away from the parents and make it a community responsibility - sad. In other words, eat what you want, it's the governments responsibility to take care of your teeth. And our tax dollars fund this endeavor. This is what frameworks came up with When you click on this URL http://www.kidsoralhealth.org/ This pops up " Fluoridate! Check to see if your community water has fluoride. If not, support it! " However, the messages change. Please note that they are using Washington State as a testing ground that they hope to expand to the entire country.
