I wish the sources of the major modern diseases (cancer, stroke, physician and hospital induced illness, lead the pack by far) would be addressed. Such as * moving electrical power lines away from humans * decrease production of insidious chemical compounds * having pharmaceutical manufacturers held accountable and care givers wash thier hands more often *less crowded or decentralized hospitals *drop canabalistic insurance companies * etc etc But money is everything. We saw the doctors come out in force over the money it costs them to operate, but they are mysteriously silent when they know they could prevent 80% of their case load by being a part of the voices for changing lethal mechanisms in today's world. But as a whole, they have aligned themselves historically and presently to the industrial and political 'power centers' like crack whores.I'm sorry but this extreme negligence in my opinion is typical of a group that feels divine relative to less economically placed people. Guest guest Posted April 24, 2003 Report Share Posted April 24, 2003 Not that I've been to ded school, er, I mean med school, but from what I understand the founders of modern medicine and the schools, and the funding of the schools, labs, etc, happens often through foundations such as the Rockefeller foundation and the like. These foundations were established to 1. protect profits and 2. Continue the profits of the industrial companies that they stemmed from through the advocacy of policies that squash competition and eliminate viable alternatives to the status quo in all fields. We don't have medicine that heals because these organizations don't want medicines and nutrition that discontinue or limit their ability to make profit. We don't have alternative energy because they want to continue the profits from oil. We don't even have real freedom because freedom has become limited to freedom of choice over what you might consume that they have produced. They are eliminating real food in favor of quick, easy to make, manufactured foods. Again, profits. They own the medical schools. They founded the medical schools. They are a cartel that exists for their own profits, and not any individual's health. They have through principles of socialism and fascism taken over the US government in the 20th century. All to cure various social ills that were made up by them. ad nauseum, ad infinitum They are the divines and they expect us to exist for them.
