So far, my experience supports that idea. Peter Borten wrote: > I've heard about and tried this mugwort trick too. How do we explain the effects of indirect moxibustion? :-) Moxa is quite fragrant. Perhaps the aroma mediates this action. I haven't tried this, but it's an interesting notion. Many of them ask specifically for moxa on the needles for that reason.

Guest guest
Hi Cathy. I wonder if these incidents have anything to do with Nevada burning mustard gas stores at that time. I used to live in Arizona and had a friend who worked in a health food store. We lived up in the White Mountains, similar in elevation to Incline Village. She said that everytime Nevada burned mustard gas she had multitudes of people come in feeling weird neurologically. Who knows what happened to them after that. I know that I was healthy when I moved their and close to death when I left. Apparently higher elevations can be very toxic. Air pollutants fall in the higher elevations and so even deer and elk have been found to have heavy toxicity from eating grass watered by rain that fell through air pollution. It rises from the cities and falls in the mountains. Ugh. Anyway, there were alot of cfs people in the white mountains, just like in Incline Village. So I have always wondered about the possibility of us being in some sort of air pattern of polution coming from Nevada's mustard gas burnings. BUT, also, since I stopped eating grains (wheat, corn, oats, rice) my cfs symptoms have reduced by about 70-80% If you have not tried going off grains, I would enourage you to give it a try. It can be miraculous or a non plus, but you won't know till you try.
