Can't help but add my 2 cent's worth:

In the seventies I was working in a Portland, Ore. health food supermarket which, unfortunately, was then owned by an individual who, as well as the owner's legal counsel, were not well-versed in the industry and the products the owner was making a living from.

At this particular time, circa 1972, my youngest child was not yet three years of age and was experiencing strange tumors on one hand which were being controlled (and eliminated) as long as she was given a ground, encapsulated apricot seed "health food" product called "APRIKERN."

As long as she received the contents of one capsule of this ground apricot seed daily, these tumors on her hand would go away. When I stopped giving her the Aprikern, within a week or so the tumors would begin to reappear (I was giving her only the contents of the two-piece, hard-shell gelatin capsule, she did not receive the capsule because, having been previously tested fluoride toxic/allergic, I'd learned by then that animal gelatin capsules are made from the hide, horns and hooves which are the sources of fluoride in the two-piece supplement capsules).

My infant daughter was not the only one benefitting from Aprikern. I'd learned of it from several of this health food store's customers who had been successfully "controlling" their cancers with it (and they had learned of it from other cancer victims who were successfully controlling their cancers).

NOTE: Back then, only the members of the drug medical establishment could use the word "cure." God forbid if any among those working within the non-toxic alternative approach to health maintenance/disease prevention were to use that word---they'd end up in jail or, worse yet, be persecuted into financial ruin! (And many were.)

It was in late November or early December of the year the APRIKERN TRAGEDY occurred. An agent of the government (I think it was FDA) showed up at the health food supermarket where I worked, boldly took all the Aprikern from the store's shelf and proceeded to empty every bottle's contents into a large waste canister and then poured something he called "glue" over the product so that it could not be retrieved nor salvaged in any way. (Boy, did he politely but assertively receive an earful from the employees and customers present when this took place.)

The sad part about this was this act, performed at thousands of health food stores and distributors of health food products nationwide, put the mfgr. of Aprikern out of business within the month.

Sadder still is the fact that several people diagnosed with cancer previously declared "in remission" by their establishment oncologists who'd accomplished this using only diet and this Aprikern food supplement, were sentenced to death by this heinous act.

Their cancers returned when they could no longer access Aprikern.

Two who'd been declared "terminal" by their MDs (but for whom a non-toxic optimal diet and the Aprikern had reduced and/or eliminated pain and was reducing or eliminating tumor activity) did die.

Even more saddening is my learning that this need not have been. The confiscating of Aprikern was effected illegally if not immorally because I learned soon thereafter that the owner of the store did not have to surrender the product without compensation because Aprikern had not been determined unsafe, in fact, it was at that time being examined and tested at the University of Arizona. This nationwide declaration of "unsafe" and "toxic" by the FDA was unfounded. It was a classic example of a book popular at that time, "WINNING THROUGH INTIMIDATION." (If you can find a copy still in print, I highly recommend reading it. Those on the side of Truth and Justice need to become better informed on the weapons the enemy uses to effect "wins" by other than justifiable means.)

THE WORST WAS YET TO COME: In February of the following year, in an itty-bitty, no more than a one-column inch, hidden deep within the bowels of the Portland Oregonian Newspaper (which had front-page headlined the original castigation of this natural, cancer-controlling food product) was the brief message that the U. of Arizona had completed its testing of Aprikern and found it to be completely harmless, safe to consume. No toxicity because their testing had verified what was already a matter of public record in previous research over preceeding decades: the cyanide naturally occurring in unadulterated natural foods (i.e. all bio-dynamic, man-made-toxic-chemical-free, "organically-grown" nuts and seeds, especially apricot and peach pits) is metabolized differently, harmless to healthy tissue, harmful only to cancerous tissue (and one reason why the diet in our household is optimal in raw, "organic" foods).

Since then, I've become acquainted enough with the law to have enlarged the frame of reference of more than one agent of the government (usually just poor sods, like you and me, doing their jobs, following orders, totally ignorant of anything other than what they've been told by equally ignorant and/or politically-biased Superiors (shades of the fourties and Neuremberg!).

You see, the laws of this country do not permit this kind of behavior--unless we, by our ignorance, are intimidated into a voluntary surrender of product.

Unless a product has been proven, unquestionably established as being poisonous or injurious to life and limb, the government or any other entity demanding it be removed from public access in a retail outlet must first pay for it.

A more recent example of the use of this "winning trough intimidation is the total removal of safe, non-toxic Tryptophan a decade ago (in order to make way for Prozac). The only toxic form of this amino acid, the one which sickened and/or killed people, was the one made by a Japanese firm (for mass distribution) and it was due to six months of this firm's oversight re a manufacturing process in the making of this synthetic amino acid. Tryptophan supplements had been successfully and safely used in the alternative health care industry for more than two decades for non-toxic control of sleep and emotional disorders.

Now we have synthetic melatonin and Prozac (both of which contain fluoride---which is bio-accumulative). FOOD SOURCE OF TRYPTOPHAN? Non rBGH, raw milk, raw meat, bananas (forgotten the others but raw milk and raw meat contain the highest amount. So do soybeans but I'm not yet certain this is the generic, organically-grown, chemical-and-toxin-free soybean or the GMO varieties so I avoid all soy products as they can be high in fluoride due to the plant's affinity to take up "F" from chemical fertilizer, et al).

["God don't make no junk"---food or otherwise. If we'd choose to "fuel" and maintain this piece of electro-chemical "machinery" called the human body, according to its Manufacturer's specifications, more of us would find, as we do when purchasing any other equipment, appliance, or an automobile, that operating/maintaining equipment with cheap or inappropriate products compromises function and accellerates the need for replacement parts.]

It was all an effort to gain monopoly control of the product.arnoldThis should be writ large:Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute in NY City that did the studies on apricotseeds back in the 1970's went looking for a drug that used cyanide as thechemo agent very shortly after they claimed that apricot seeds did notaffect cancer at all. You can read between the lines of that one and youwill be correct. The point is, for an institution that is owned andfinanced by the drug industry, as Sloan Kettering is nothing more than thefactory outlet for the Pharma Cartel, there is no money in pushing theseeds of a fruit. These people need a patentable product. Read the study. You will be amazed at the bias and lack of scientificpenetration. The seeds were found to bring cancer into remission but whenpatients were taken

off the seeds their cancer returned. The researchersconcluded that the seeds were not a cure for cancer and therefore not worthpursuing. As Bob observed above the MSK then went out looking for other cyanidebearing drugs for something they could patent and sell at extortionateprices to cancer patients. They failed because the active ingredient isactually Vit b17 not cyanide.

Apricot seeds are not forbidden. It is illegal to sell apricot seeds as a cure for cancer or for the treatment of any disease but apricots are nothing more than fruit and you can eat them till your hearts content. My healthfood store sells the seeds but they do so as a food product as they sell walnuts, almonds, peanuts and cashews. The problem people run into with the legal authorities is when they attempt to sell the seeds as medicine or as a treatment for a particular disease, most notably , cancer. That is what is illegal. People have been misinformed and mislead on this issue for a long time. Apricots are food and the seeds are readily available so long as you do not make any medical claims about them, they are perfectly legal to sell as you would any seed from any legal plant.Apricots are

a tasty fruit and we eat them all the time. Some sellers of the seeds hype them as a medical cure for cancer and raise the price of something that would otherwise be very cheap. Or at least cheap compared to what they are really worth. I am not saying that the seeds do not have value as medicine, i'm not saying that at all. In fact there are many researchers and doctors who have stated that they are in fact useful in the treatment of cancer. Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute in NY City that did the studies on apricot seeds back in the 1970's went looking for a drug that used cyanide as the chemo agent very shortly after they claimed that apricot seeds did not affect cancer at all. You can read between the lines of that one and you will be correct. The point is, for an institution that is owned and financed by the drug industry, as Sloan Kettering is nothing more than the factory outlet for the Pharma

Cartel, there is no money in pushing the seeds of a fruit. These people need a patentable product. The idea is to make money, not cure disease. It's unfortunate that too many people have not yet figured this out. Many seeds of many fruits have similar qualities as apricot seeds, it's just that apricot seeds has more of them. THey are legal so long as you make no medical claims when you sell them.BOB«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»NATIONWIDE DENTAL BENEFITS PACKAGE PLUSSAVE UP TO 80% on DENTAL, PRESCRIPTIONS DRUGS,GLASSES, CONTACTS, VISION CARE, & CHIROPRACTIC.$11.95 For Single or$19.95 For an entire household per month!Immediate Coverage * No Waiting Period Pre-existing Covered * No Limit on Benefits http://www.mybenefitsplus.com/MMerrill/ Email: MEM121«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§ - PULSE ON WORLD HEALTH CONSPIRACIES! §Subscribe:......... - To :.... - Any information here in is for educational purpose only, it may be news related, purely speculation or someone's opinion.
