Guest guest
I need some advice. in 1995 I was told that I have bone spurs and degenerate joint disease in my neck. I am rarely bothered by the arthitis because my herbs keep me inflamation free. I have had 2 spurs fuse together. After a period of time I can feel pressure in my neck. This presure will build over a period of time. Slowly. Before bush did all the cuts last oct, I was put into traction during physical therapy. I have been trying to get this since last oct. Eventually the pressure become horrible and traction is the only thing that helps. I am on medicaid and they have always paid for my treatments until last oct. Yesterday I went to see the doctor. My pressure is increasing to the degree that it is interfering with life. I find some comfort lying down. But I can't do that forever. My 2 previous ortho doctors have moved (I don't blame them at all) agreed that traction is what truly helps me. I explain to doctor that PT people are not trying very hard to get me PT. Medicaid has to approve it. I ask him to send in the paper work for it. This new doctor decided that I have inflamation. I know the difference between pressure and arithritic pain from inflamation. Rain does not bother me at all. Herb keep me from inflamation. New doctor had 3 blood tests done. 1 is for autoimmune disease. I don't even catch colds, I think my immune system is working well. I got 2 x-rays too. His remedy for my make believe inflamation is vioxx and heavy duty ibuprofen. I was told in 1995 that that amount of ibuprofen would burn up my liver, and to stop taking it, by a nurse. IF I have inflamation it is the nerves inside of spinal cord. Not arthritis. I will not take that vioxx because I read the side effects. One is bleeding. My mom has been passing blood since beginning of last year. Still they haven't found the cause. She is anemic. Swallowed the camera a week ago thurs. Vioxx can make you bleed too. I can't risk that. What can I take for the supposed inflamation, so I can tell doctor I took antiinflamatory? Any suggestions on how to release pressure in vertebrae would be helpful also. OM
