Guest guest
Hello, I suggest you see a Light-Force chiropractor - This is where you will get help. It must be a person who can adjust you without any cracking, popping manipulation. It must be a chiropractor, not a PT or other person trained in manipulative moves. The adjustment I am talking about is to release Meningeal irritation - exactly what you are describing - through gentle touches, taps and so forth. It is not aimed at the vertebral segments per se, but will relieve your cord pressure. See if there is a Network practitioner in your area. You can find a directory or a phone number at http://www.innateintelligence.com and more info there. You might also find someone similarly trained but not specifically Network - such as BEST, N.E.T. Toftness among others - by calling chiropractors in your area. If you tell them what is going on, they will refer you to someone who can adjust you. There are many principled, talented healers out there who can help you and who have affordable fees or will be able to take your insurance. Find someone you are comfortable with, and it's a whole lot better than traction. Good luck - Lil http://off-the-grid.net - OcenMyst (tyj) Friday, June 27, 2003 5:20 AM I need some advice. in 1995 I was told that I have bone spurs and degenerate joint disease in my neck. I am rarely bothered by the arthitis because my herbs keep me inflamation free. I have had 2 spurs fuse together. After a period of time I can feel pressure in my neck. This presure will build over a period of time. Slowly. Before bush did all the cuts last oct, I was put into traction during physical therapy. I have been trying to get this since last oct. Eventually the pressure become horrible and traction is the only thing that helps. I am on medicaid and they have always paid for my treatments until last oct. Yesterday I went to see the doctor. My pressure is increasing to the degree that it is interfering with life. I find some comfort lying down. But I can't do that forever. My 2 previous ortho doctors have moved (I don't blame them at all) agreed that traction is what truly helps me. I explain to doctor that PT people are not trying very hard to get me PT. Medicaid has to approve it. I ask him to send in the paper work for it. This new doctor decided that I have inflamation. I know the difference between pressure and arithritic pain from inflamation. Rain does not bother me at all. Herb keep me from inflamation. New doctor had 3 blood tests done. 1 is for autoimmune disease. I don't even catch colds, I think my immune system is working well. I got 2 x-rays too. His remedy for my make believe inflamation is vioxx and heavy duty ibuprofen. I was told in 1995 that that amount of ibuprofen would burn up my liver, and to stop taking it, by a nurse. IF I have inflamation it is the nerves inside of spinal cord. Not arthritis. I will not take that vioxx because I read the side effects. One is bleeding. My mom has been passing blood since beginning of last year. Still they haven't found the cause. She is anemic. Swallowed the camera a week ago thurs. Vioxx can make you bleed too. I can't risk that. What can I take for the supposed inflamation, so I can tell doctor I took antiinflamatory? Any suggestions on how to release pressure in vertebrae would be helpful also. Guest guest
Sorry it took so long to answer. Haven't been doing much lately. I can walk over to the chiro that is hop and a skip from here. I will ask him to give me a list of people. I really have to do something. After a while it begins to feel like someone is pushing really hard on top of my head. Pushing down. It is awful. Thankful I am not quite there yet. That is why they put me into traction. It does feel good to do that. I am concerned about this though, because I have lost movement in neck because of fusion of vertebrae. But I will give it a try if I can afford it. This is no way to live. om , Lupo <llupowitz@c...> wrote: > Hello, > > I suggest you see a Light-Force chiropractor - > This is where you will get help.
