Guest guest
This is what I think of this article and things like it. I distrust the government because anything a product takes money away from better represented industries who have lobbiest that are spending lots of money wining and dining Congressmen, it causes trouble, money trouble for competitors, the government does things to protect the assets of their contributors and lobbiest which pay for travel and entertainment, so anytime the government knocks a 'natural product' watch out. The pharmaceutical industry is a 'protected entity' on capitol hill. Soy was not criticized until it started to be huge money making industry. To the articles' question " Could Soy Be Dangerous? " ...the answer may be " NO " also. Could just be dangerous to someone else's profits. Watch out for any attacks on the natural food industry...they encrouch on sales of pharmacy products. The hormone replacement pills women take have taken a big hit and soy is picking up the slack to ease symptoms of declining estrogen. The pharmaceutical industry would love to scare women back onto the pills and also the Soy industry is queasing out space at the grocery store of shelf space usually given to Milk (another protected entity). I would believe more I read, if campaigns of candidates were 100% public financed and Congressmen didn't depend on lobbies and others to fund their run for office. Until that happens read anything to do with the health food, vitamin and mineral industry with a GREAT deal of skepticism. However if the pharmacy industry has some bad news out, read it carefully because it is probably WORSE than they are saying and just saying as little as they can to not be faulted for not getting the news out. --- Elaine <mem121 wrote: > ABCNEWS.com : 20/20: Could Soy Products Be > Dangerous?> > http://www.abcnews.go.com/onair/2020/2020_000609_soy_feature.html > > SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month! http://sbc. Guest guest
If you think that soy is so wonderful, then by all means, eat a lot of it. Never mind that virtually all soy products are highly processed and about as far from natural as one can get. Ignore the fact that virtually all studies that show the " virtues " of soy are financed by companies and organizations that profit from soy and usually have flawed methodology. Of course when your thyroid craters, and other problems caused by soy mainfest, you can blame it on something else. >This is what I think of this article and things >like it.
