Guest guest
Barb, much of what you've stated is most likely very true...I certainly wouldn't doubt it...Yet, with that in mind you need to remember that there are lawyers who work hard for the nutritional supplement industry too. I know of one individual (a Limu lover)who was one of the principal persons involved with the development and passage of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA)of 1994. He is both a lawyer and a lobbyist who works on these issues professionally, he knows the " legality " of the supplement industry inside and out..and believe me he is definitely on our side! The FTC & FDA regulations (I believe) are put in place (at least in part) to protect us. Yes, there's plenty of corruption going on, but the industry still has a desperate need for proper compliance. When companies & people choose not to comply it ends up hurting all of us. Those who have a legitimate supplement that can truly impact lives are hurt by the charlatans who are only interested in making a dollar. Blessings!
