ABDUCTEES and ELECTROMAGNETIC DISORDERS

The ideas presented here are taken from the book by Albert Budden who did

more than a decade of research on electromagnetics/altered states/brain

interaction. I'd share his research in installment since there are many

ideas and topics. I hope to hear your comment about it. For my own

comment. All I could say now is I don't know. Still trying to understand

it with help from you. 8-]

The main idea is that " abductees " are sufferers of electromagnetic

disorder in the body which affects the brain, etc. causing hallucinations

as well as signal-link up with outside energy source which can cause

physical manifestation such as poltergeist, etc...

 

I'll start sharing Albert Budden ideas now. Note that since I can't

copied the exact words from the book, I have to summarize and in so

doing. Some ideas might get twisted therefore for you who are

BODY ELECTRICAL STORMS AND ALLERGY:

Abductees are electromagnetically active. They can emit electricity in the

body and affect electrical equipments. They have allergy in one form or

another. According to an expert in Electromagnetics, C. W. Smith who

has studied many subjects who suffered from electrical illnesses:

" However, not only are these allergic patients extremely electrically

sensitive, they can also, when reacting allergically, emit electrical

signals, rather like an electric fish. These signals can be large

enough to interfere with electronic apparatus, as clinical case-histories

testify. The electrical signals which make it possible to eavesdrop

on computers are sufficiently strong to trigger allergic reactions in

senstive patients who are then liable to feed 'garbage' back into the

computer or other equipment. The subject area in electronics which deals

with such problems is " Electromagnetic Compatibility " . The problems

which allergy patients have describe are very wide-ranging. One patient

had a robotic system in a factory completely malfunction each time he

stood near it. Another had the electronic ignition system on successive

new cars fail as soon as an allergic reaction was triggered by fumes from

a diesel truck in front... the possibilities for 'zapping' electronics

by allergic patients are many. "

 

The above indicates that an allergic reaction in a sensitive subject will

induce their system to emit electrical fields, and this can be prompted

by an exposure to such fields or to any chemical to which they are

allergic, as they are interchangeable.

 

 

INDUCED HALLUCINATIONS:

Abductees have electrical inbalances in their bodies. They can store

and emit electricity. What if the signal reach certain coincidental

pattern which reach the Amygdala, a part of the brain which experiments

have shown are able to induce hallucinatins of alien beings when

activated by fields. See the article below in Omni 1991 as lectured

by Dr. Byrd:

" The other work, conducted by Dr. Elmer Green at the Menninger Foundation,

was called the " copper wall experiment " . He induced feelings and

imagery in human beings with precisely place magnetic field

generators. Although his results are preliminary and well documented,

Green is not to the point of publication yet, and is loathe to discuss

his work. Michael Persinger, however, is talking about his work at

Laurentien University in Sudbury, Ontario. Persinger is inducing

hallucinations in people. He selected a group of 250 students for the

study. Every one of those subjects claimed that they never had a

mystical experience of any kind, never been on drugs or anything.

 

Persinger has a motorcycle helmet on which he has mounted a lot of

coils at specific locations. The pulsing of the coils is controlled by

a computer. He can focus the magnetic energy to a very small point in

the brain. A point 1 centimeter on a side. He focussed the signal on a

part of the brain known as the amygdala, which he is claiming is the

site of all mystical experience that people have. He uses a basic 10

Hz square wave, changing the " ripple " on the square wave rather than

the frequency or the shape of the wave. He also controls the

intensity. What he is able to do is elicit a common type of

hallucination. Virtually without exception the hallucination goes like

this: the person lays down. There is a strobe light in the ceiling to

induce a mild altered state. He has the subject free associate. Almost

without exception, these people who never had a mystical experience

start seeing an " alien being " on the ceiling which, as he changes the

intensity and the ripple on the signal, comes down from the ceiling

and is in front of the person and starting to have a conversation with

them.

 

He has had a few bizarre examples and results. One lady not only sees

an alien being - she sees God. She is convinced that it is God that

actually comes and talks with her. They can't wait to come back and

repeat this experience. With another lady, when the intensity got to a

certain point, asked him why he " turned out the light " . He turned the

intensity down and the light would come on. There is a lot of

variation in response to the signal. The only common thing is this

hallucination of an " alien being " .

 

Well, when word leaked out about this and what he was doing, his

office was picketed by Fundamentalists. He actually received threats

on his life. He countered all of this with the following argument: He

says, " I don't know if there really alien beings, but I do know this -

even if there are, there has to be some mechanism by which we hear the

voices and see the images. There is something in the brain that makes

it real. It must be mediated through the amygdala because I can create

these kind of experiences at will now. "

 

Albert Budden, author of " UFOs: Psychic Close Encounters " explains that

Abduction occurs as follows:

 

First. The 'abductee' is exposed to strong ambient field such as those

created by microwave stations in relation to TV station with the fields

greatly increasing in intensity (other sources are earthlights produced

by faults). With normal people. The effect wouldn't be that bad. However,

in an 'abductee', who is having electromagnetic disorders in the body,

which can be sensitive to the em field as well as having some form of

allergy (see part I of Abductees and Electromagnetic Disorder). The

effect would be different. Now, if the abductee is prone to going into

altered states in easier manner than normal. The combination would be

full-blown " abductions " .

 

 

ALIEN IMAGERY

When the abductee is in an altered state of consciousness,

the strong electromagnetic fields inpringing upon his/her unconscious

would result in the imagery of aliens because this is how the nervous

system (of the unconscious brain) treat the foreign strong ambient

electromagnetic field (as " aliens " , because it is foreign to the body...

assumption taken from the unconscious of collective archetypes).

 

ABBREVIATED FORMS

The alien crafts and occupants hallucinated will normally be of simple

description, like round objects, gray color skin aliens with the faces

conveniently hidden by darkened visors or all-covering helmets because

according to Mr. Budden, the unconscious doesn't want much details when

identifying hallucinated objects, but of course, there is an exception to

every rule, just like there are good artist who can draw things from

memory accurately. Bottom line is, most of the humanoids seen are of the

THE INCORPORATION OF STIMULI INTO THE CLOSE-ENCOUNTER EXPERIENCE

from page 177 of Albert Budden book:

" This is an important phenomenon that we have all experienced at some

time. Although it need not involve encounter experiences, it has direct

implications for them. When we are asleep and dreaming, the perceptual

appartus is inwardly directed and it is oblivious to low-level stimuli,

such as sound and light. However, if for example the sound level is

raised, it intrudes into the consciousness as sensory noise and we wake

up. Sometimes if these external stimuli are at a median level, they are

perceived by the sleeper and incorported into the dream. In dreams a

ringing alarm clock can become a fire-alarm; sunlight playing on the

face can become a fire; street sounds can become cries of distress and

so on. The Close Encounter that is an internal visionary experience -

or those parts of it that are - can do the same with external lights

and sounds, and even more potently, fields. An ES (Electrically Sensitive

(those who can emit electricity such as all Abductees do - James)

individual exposed to a variety of fields and frequencies from a

transmitting antenna can transpose such fields into perceptions of alien

activity, for that is how the brain interprets such fields. Field

stimulation to Broca's area of the brain would induce the apparently

" telepathic " perception of words and meaning from an " alien entity " .

In fact, this is an almost obligatory aspect of encounters, where

the witness reports that they " heard words in my head " from an alien

" confronting " them. This would also explain why such " communications "

are almost always in the language of the witness. Other examples may

be where the ES witness reacts allergically to the field, which may

induce a blotchy rash on the face and neck. This may be perceived as a

" laser beam from the underside of the craft struck me in the face.

 

POLTERGEIST CHARGED EARTH LIGHTS

If only life is that simple. " Abductees " wouldn't have much problems.

But " Abductees " have much more complicated situations. I'll start with

one. You see. Abductees are known to affect electricity and even emit them

(almost 95% of abductees do). Abductees are like " lightning rods " to the

Earthlights that's why earthlights or other mysterious fields of energy

(orange ball of lights, for example) are known to follow abductees in the

highway when the abductee is driving a car.

The argument contents of this message is written in response to Jana's

(an abductee) query with regards to how clothes are inside out or with

grass and C.B.s (another abductee) query on why two abductees can meet

each other during abductions.

 

SLEEPWALKING and Abductees

C.W. Smith, the author of ELECTROMAGNETIC MAN (I have this book too and

can see the details) states that his subjects who are ES (Electro-Sensitive)

who can emit electricity, experience allergy, can also experience

sleepwalking. This is because the brain electricity can also be affected

by the electromagnetic disorders in the body. Note that C.W. Smith is never

into UFOs or abductions. His research is about electromagnetic fields and

the human body.

" Symptoms of electrical sensitivity include all the allergic symptoms

mentioned... However, those particularly associated with electric and

magnetic fields include... muscular aches, noises in the head, pins and

needles, especially in hands and feet, dizziness, fits and black-outs,

disorientation, headaches... Electrical sensitivity may also mimic

neurological diseases such as paralysis, epilepsy and MS. "

 

I'll continue with the above further below.

I will first share (from what I heard) how or what cause the " abductee "

to go to the altered states in the first place.

 

In the Road:

 

When driving at night in a long highway, the abductee is prone to go

into altered state because of the straight road which is somewhat

hypnotic inducing. But this is not all. The following is another reason.

page 197 of Albert Budden book read:

 

" There is clearly a reoccuring association of the close-encounter with

the nocturnal car journey. To explain the reason for this association,

we need to realize that it is significant that the car can be regarded

as an extension of our own body and senses; that is to say, there is

more than just an analogous parallel between headlights and eyes;

wheels and legs; engine and metabolism; nerves and electrical wiring;

ignition and consciousness. The connecting link betweet the two in the

close-encounter situation is the sensory noise factor...... "

 

During the arrival of the mysterious atmosphere lights as it gets

attracted to the abductee in the car (like a lightning rod owing to the

electrical anomaly in the body of the abductee or the car (as extented).

A malfunction in the car (like turning off) would cause a sudden fall in

sensory noise levels. The result would altered states in the easily

induced abductee.

 

According there are two actions that can be experienced by the abductee(s)

in the car. One is where they just get immobile while the other one is

they continue to drive while in an altered states.

 

I'll go into details with the latter first. From page 166 of the book:

 

" Trance does not mean inactivity or inaction; that is to say, there is

a division in the 'abductee's' consciousness betwee nthe visionary state

and the functional state, where the subject will be experiencing

'abduction' internally, while in actual fact he or she will 'carry on

as normal' with routine low-level activities, such as wandering around

a park, driving a car or sitting in a chair (remembering an abductee

accounts where the investigators are sitting beside her while she is

telling them the she is right in the middle of abduction???) That

this is possible is further supported by research into the nature of

epilepsy:

 

" post-ical automatism is the phenomenon in which a person can undertake

some fairly complex act, such as undressing and putting themselves to

bed, of which they have no subsequent memory. " (Elilepsy-The Facts, A

Hopkins (Oxford University Press, 1981).

 

It is clear that subjects can easily lose lengthy periods of time,

surprising as it may seem. The ES (Electrosensitive such as Abductees),

however, can produce a type of pseudo-epilepsy, or 'blank-out', without

convulsions, that can be triggerred by radio waves or the frequencies

emitted from other sources. "

 

Note: Let it be clear right now that Abductees are NOT suffering from

epilepsy. It is just that their electromagnetically active body can

mimic a bit of the symptoms. While in that time-lapse, the unconscious

can capitalize on these 'voids' and uses them as sensory noise-free
