A few evenings ago, the phone rang after 9 PM and I did not answer it.

I then noticed a message and played it back - it was from the

Center for Disease Control, regarding Immunization statistics,

asking if there were any children in the household

between 12 months and 3 years!

The next day I was curious, and so I did call the 800 number back

(against my husband's advice...).

Indeed it was the CDC Health Statistics Division, and I answered two

questions - no, there were no children between 12 mos and 3 yrs,

and no, there were no children under age 18.

I asked, Why did you call us? The answer was "Random sampling

of households, no reason, just statistics."

I told the truth, my youngest son is 19 yrs old.

However, we did not vaccinate any of our three children

and we did homeschool more than half the time.

I wonder if they are just getting "caught up" in checking up?

If I had little kids, I would not have called back.

It freaked me out a bit, but it is TOO LATE now for them to

do anything about it!

I more or less did the same thing for the year 2000 census. Remember how they wanted all kinds of information besides how the mere enumerating of the population. I received the long form. I told them how many people lived here. At this address. I confirmed address information and how many people lived here. Remember all those other questions. I suppose that something else could have happened--they did call me wanting information over the phone. They got the same thing, but I also told the person doing the calling that that was what I was by law demanded to give. Not any information relating to employment, how much, when, etc. Not anything setting things up for special funding decisions for the boro or the county where I live, which would not have authorized by the actual constitution anyways.

These people NEVER ask for information specifically for informational purposes. Nobody in government does that. They always ask for reasons of power.

Who they going to give their gifts to. "Oh, your congressional district is economically depressed, you disttrict is eligible for $750,000 in grants to make a park." Oh goody, everybody says. But the people that they take it from would maybe like to pay less taxes that that grant of a park are based on. They make their friends and what ends up happening is one is left hoping that one gits more than one is stolen from. But the reality of it all is that everything that government is giving away, is all based on theft.

And that is the game their questions play. Just different angles from different departments. Even the departments are actually illegal. There should not be a FDA, FTA, SEC, IRS, XYZ, etc. etc. The Congress is empowered to make laws, not departments, not the President, not the Courts.
