Guest guest
My doctor and psych nurse are certain I have fibromyagia. I have been in constant pain for over 2 months all over including the trigger points and lots of main joints and small joints too. I am trying to find healthy ways to deal with this with alternative methods. I live in kansas with my hubby, 2 cats, and a big ole dog. We just moved to a Ranch which helps, but those stairs to the basement to do laundry can be tricky. We couldn't find a house with all that we wanted plus a laundry thing on the main floor. I love this house, too bad I am in so much pain and can't enjoy it better. We just spent 1000 dollars on new furniture so I can get out of bed and into the living room! I am seeing a chiropractor internest (100 in the country) who sounds like he can help with lots of $$. However he is nice and very informative(unlike many traditional doc's, I have been to). What is weird is that today my pain is better, yesterday and all the last 2 or so months I have been moaning in pain and had to have a muscle relaxer finally. Vicodin didn't even work. Vioxx wore off within two days. the relaxant helps but can't drive on it. I also have bipolar disorder (on disablity for it, it can be very severe) which makes it complicated, due to those drugs. I have gone off many to see if they are the cause. My family doctor thought it was the lamictal (life savor for my sleep and depression) and I did too, but I was on it for quite a while with hardly any side effects besides needing to go on metro gel for my face "rash" which could be roscea. I still have no idea what is going on really. My pych nurse who knows meds really really well (that is why I am seeing her and she believes in less is better and is also as holistic as a nurse can be..... she doesn't think it is the meds at all. I did have another "flair" around Feb or march. I was on lamictal then too. also just decreased my trileptal (dehaydrates me) so I don't really know what is going on. sorry this Is so very long and complicated , but there it is...... my intro, ..... Hoping to get some good healthy advice no matter what the problem is. Amy S from Kansas
