Guest guest
News is reporting this is NOT a terrorist attack. They are saying it is due to an overload and caused grid to go down. No indication as to the actual reason yet. They are telling the Public to stay calm. Lights went out in NYC at 4:14 Do not go into the City, try to leave to go home. Street lights are down as is subways, etc. Planes of course are NOT affected. Still trying to find out where the power outage started and why. Detroit has been added to cities that are out, along with Cleveland. Electric out all the way down through Connecticut
Guest guest
Our power was out for about 12 hours here – near Buffalo, NY. But 3 miles away, my parents had power. Most people in this area were out. We have a generator to keep my refrig and freezer up and running. No big deal – at least for us here – but I guess NYC goes into a panic.
