1] HARMONIC CONVERGENCE

The Mayan scholar Jose Arguelles organised

'Harmonic Convergence' on 16/17 August, 1987.

Many thousands of people met at places of great

beauty and sacred sites for the sunrises of 16th

and 17th August, 1987. 17th (and 16th) August

2003 is the 16th anniversary. We have just over

nine years until a transit of Mayan calendar

ages in December 2012.
