I think,, no sure this correct. As this is "empty" food. They do die ...

I have not tried it, do not have ants in the house. As for the fire ants, my attitude, you leave me alone, I leave you along, I do not bother them either. There are not chemicals OR poisons used anywhere here, including cleaning products. You can use vinegar to clean just about anything soap won't. Soap by the way makes a nice spray on your pants too that are being bothered with various "bugs".

Do the ants just die? Do you see them dying? If not, perhaps they just don’t want to share space with aspartame. And here are people with less sense than an ant. Gives new meaning to being pea-brained.
