Thanks for the site, now, WHO or really, I just want the article, whoever

sent me the article talking about this site and that it was blocked by Armed

Services or something like that, can you RE-SEND. Thanks

 

It was a news article talking but not giving the site address of it being

blocked to the military personnel, and it was either just one group, like

those in Iraq or maybe it is the Carlisle Barracks?

 

anyway if you have it send.

I'd like to see the article too. My 18 year-old son is thinking about going

into the air force. I'd like to know what he'd be up against.

tell your son to go rent Full Metal jacket at the video store for starters.

During the Viet Nam war Air Force personell were flown into Laos and dropped out to do combat. Not everything is done from the air. he could learn to be an aircraft mechanic that would serve him well if and when he is discharged. he could learn water treatment. I was an Air Force brat. Most of my friends became fighter pilots and some followed our dads footsteps to go into SAC on B-52's. If he goes into medical it can have long lasting benefiys. We know about disease tho.

The problem if he does not tke into consideration what the in service job can translate into civilian living he can be left high and dry for employment if he finds himself discharged for whatever reason. A recriter is there to bring in new meat how ever way possible. However keep in mind they would never lie to your son or try to make it appear glamorous. Naw they would never do that. If they did they might end up in some job they did not like. If you or he believes that.....
