Guest guest
Hi Cindy, I had my tubes tied after my third child was born. After almost 13 years, in Jan. of 1999, I had a reversal. I conceived 6 days later. I've had a total of three babies since my reversal and two miscarriages...so, no, getting pregnant was not hard for me. I know how hard it is to want babies though, because during my barren years I felt so empty. I didn't really want my tubal in the first place. It caused both physical and emotional problems. During the past 4 years I have become very in tune to my body. I know exactly when I am likely to conceive, so although I have felt so in awe of being pregnant I can't say I was surprised. If you are seriously thinking about having another baby and want to talk about it off list, please feel free to email me. If anyone wants to read the birth stories of my last three children, they can be found at http://asarrows.tripod.com/quiverful/. ~Wendy (who some days thinks she should keep a cast iron skillet next to the bed and other days wants to see two lines on a dip stick again)
Guest guest
HI Wendy, I read your page and about your babies' births... I was real impressed with you doing it by yourself without a hospital, but I guess women did it that way for thousands of years before we got use to going to a hospital. How did you ever get your husband to agree to having babies at home and help out? I imagine you do have your hands full with 3 little ones. I think that if I have another one I will go to the hospital, I don't think my boyfriend would want to do it at home, and I enjoyed my hospital stays with my first 2 kids. bye cindy
