Guest guest
Dear Harold, I have a post that I posted to the Symphonic Health list that may be helpful. In general, I've seen huge results with Transfer Factor, and if one can get a remedy for the following Mycobacterium, one would find significant help in Homeopathy with a Nosode. British study links Crohn's disease to milk bug By Richard Woodman LONDON, Aug 6 (Reuters) - British scientists said on Wednesday they had found a link between a common bowel disorder and a type of bacteria that can be passed to humans in milk. Professor John Hermon-Taylor and his team at St George's Hospital Medical School in London said they had detected Mycobacterium avium paratuberculosis (MAP) bacteria in 92 percent of patients with Crohn's disease, but in only 26 percent of patients in a control group. " The rate of detection of MAP in individuals with Crohn's disease is highly significant and implicates this pathogen in disease causation, " they said in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology. " The problems caused by the MAP bug are a public health tragedy, " said Hermon-Taylor, who has sent a copy of the paper to Britain's Chief Medical Officer Liam Donaldson. Crohn's disease causes inflammation of the intestine and symptoms include diarrhea, pain, weight loss and tiredness. About 100,000 people in Britain alone are affected, with about 5,000 new cases reported every year. The study was backed by the medical charity Action Research, which said previous findings showed MAP is present in two percent of retail pasteurized milk cartons. " The discovery that the MAP bug is present in the vast majority of Crohn's sufferers means it is almost certainly causing the intestinal inflammation, " it said in a statement. " Action Research does not recommend that anyone stops drinking milk. However, for those individuals with Crohn's disease or their close relatives who may feel particularly at risk, it may be sensible to start drinking UHT milk. " As UHT involves higher pasteurization temperatures, it is probable that MAP is destroyed, " it said. It called for Crohn's to be made a reportable disease, for more stringent milk pasteurization, for tests for MAP in dairy herds, and procedures for reducing MAP infection on farms. Hermon-Taylor said an unexpected finding of the research showed that patients suffering from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) may also be infected with MAP. " In animals, MAP inflames the nerves of the gut, " he said. " Recent work from Sweden shows that people with IBS also have inflamed gut nerves. There is a real chance that the MAP bug may be inflaming people's gut nerves and causing IBS. "
Guest guest
The treatment for Crohn’s disease is the same as for any other degenerative disease – no matter what you call what you have – start with the basics – you need NUTRITION. A well-nourished body doesn’t make mistakes. Support your digestion and assimilation with plant-based enzymes and probiotics – add products that will boost your immune system (wholefood supplementation). Eliminate offending foods. Don’t let your doctors tell you there is no cure – don’t let them hack out part of your colon. What you eat and don’t eat is so important, but doctors will not tell you that. Eliminate meat, dairy, simple carbs, sugars, “non” foods. Add tons of “pure” water, fruits, veggies, complex carbs. Carol

Guest guest
People are getting excellent results on colitis, Crohn's, yeast, and IBS by increasing the ratio of inulin-containing foods in their diet, or by supplementing with inulin itself, a water extract of Chicory root, Jerusalem artichoke root, or Dahlia root. Native inulin contains about 2% FOS and 6% sugar, which can be a problem because it supports a degree of yeast growth and bad bowel bacteria so the ones sensitive to FOS and sugar, including the above and diabetics, are using inulin that has had the sugar and FOS removed. Problem solved; it's producing results in nearly everyone. The diseases above including diabetes indeed arise from a nutritional cause, the bowelo disorders from not providing the 'good' bowel bacteria with the means to fluorish and protect the bowel from dysbiosis. Although we evolved with the this symbiotic arrangement, our modern diet contains less than 1/3 of the inulin used throughout history. As to your " no simple carbs " comment, the SCD diet advises one ONLY uses simple carbs, and some people do get results as things quiet down. But I disagree with that diet as being unnatural, and by using inulin I've produced results, in just weeks, in people who failed to get better on the SCD for years. I believe that the problem is resolved with the inulin and perhaps the autoimmune stopper Ambrotose, a Mannatech product, and that meat is good for you, but if you don't want meat, and in any case, use cold-processed whey to produce the soothing antioxidant glutathione and provide very bioavailable protein. Guest guest
Farees, I prefer to get my nutrition from real whole food, not some ground up concentrate with a shelf life of 180 days. Whole food is alive, while processed food is dead. If you soak grains or beans in water for a few days, they will sprout because they are still alive. I have also had carrots, parsnips, onions, beets, turnips, etc. start to grow if left for a while. You do not get healing energy from dead foods. You only get healing energy from live foods.
